Pt. 8 of the series on the Congolese group Anti-Choc. In the mid 1990s leader Bozi Boziana introduced a strong keyboard influence on one of his albums and this week we pick out some of the high points of that session,. Plus, as always, we feature plenty of dynamic guitar led tracks. Guest vocalist Esperant and guitarist Burkina Faso join Bozi, Betty, Scola, Florence and the Anti-Choc Stars.

truly loved the show
Even the synthe heavy songs werent that bad, actually turned out good. The sythne was heard through out, and was burried under the exciting, melodic and very moving singing, the foot stomping guitare driven sebens, which were short in every song! and well synchronized animations.
The ladies were at their very the best!

Which song did Scola do with Koffi?

BTW I finally listened to the lady Alicia loves to hate, Cindy and Koffi in their debu CD.

She is quite good actually and those songs that had her in the lead and mostly alone, were good, but Sarko kept intruding in others and just mutilated the songs horribly.

"Dessin Anime" was the controversial collab between Koffi & Scola.

Glad that you enjoyed Bozi's synthe extravaganza. We hoped to be able to prove to all of our guitar driven listeners that Bozi's use of the synth might be "almost enjoyable".

Koffi needs to understand Cindy is dragging him down more she is pulling him up.

Why can't she go solo?

A good female singer is the one Awilo was or is still singing with. I just got a DVD with Awilo concerts and she is in it. It was my first time of seeing her but she is good. I can't remember her name.

Koffi is only interested in utilising women as a temporary attraction - be they dancers or vocalists. He knows that he is the main attraction in QL and he will not alter that position.
